SimplySign

1. Service Introduction

SimplySign is a mobile qualified electronic signature (Qualified Electronic Signature) service provided by Certum, allowing users to sign electronic documents via mobile phones, tablets, or computers anywhere without the need for a physical certificate card or reader. The signature has the same legal effect as a handwritten signature and complies with eIDAS regulations.

2. Location

This service is provided by Certum (European Certification Authority) and covers users in Poland and other EU member states. The service is regulated and supported by the Polish National Certification Center (NCCert). Learn more

• QES (Qualified Electronic Signature)
• AES (Advanced Electronic Signature)

4. Dependency Requirements

To use SimplySign for signing, the following are usually required:

• Mobile Application (SimplySign Mobile): Used to generate time-based one-time passwords (TOTP) to confirm identity and signature requests.
• Desktop Application (SimplySign Desktop or equivalent): Used to link cloud certificates and perform signing operations on computers/MACs.

5. Compliance Statement

SimplySign fully complies with the eIDAS Regulation (EU) No 910/2014. Its signatures are legally recognized within EU member states and have the same effect as handwritten signatures. Learn more
