To use OneID for signatures, the following is usually required:

  • Users need to hold a UK online bank account and be able to complete the authorization process through the bank’s identity verification mechanism (such as bank App or online banking login).

5. Compliance Description

OneID is a certified digital identity service provider (IDSP) under the UK Digital Identity and Attribute Trust Framework (DIATF). It complies with the UK GDPR and related information security and privacy standards, and is regulated by the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Although the UK has left the EU, OneID’s design also considers compatibility with the eIDAS framework, and it is included in the eID Easy platform as one of the methods available for cross-border / international signatures. In electronic signature use scenarios, by embedding bank verification identity data, OneID can significantly enhance the credibility and auditable evidence chain of the signatory’s identity.
