How do signatories verify their identity?
eSignGlobal currently uses a standard email authentication mechanism, where the email address is agreed upon and provided by both parties in the preceding business stage. To enhance security, eSignGlobal also supports multiple authentication methods, including Signatory Access Code, iAM Smart verification, SMS verification code, and Identity Verification.
When using access code verification, the initiator can set a custom password for each signatory individually (supporting a combination of text, numbers, letters, and symbols). After the signatory clicks the signing link in the email, they need to pass the password verification before they can view and sign the document.
eSignGlobal verification method authentication process
- Access Code: When creating a signing process, the initiator can set an access code for the signing step (such as a custom combination of numbers and letters). After the signatory receives the signing notification, they click to enter the signing page, and the system will prompt them to enter the access code. Only after entering the correct code can they continue with the electronic signature operation to complete the identity confirmation and signing process.
- iAM Smart Verification (applicable to Hong Kong): After the initiator enables this verification method, the signatory needs to jump to the "iAM Smart" authentication interface (or call its service within the integrated environment) when entering the signing process. The signatory needs to provide the identity information registered in "iAM Smart" according to the guidance (such as relevant information such as the Hong Kong resident digital identity). After the "iAM Smart" system verifies that the information is true and valid, it will automatically feed the result back to eSignGlobal, and the signing can continue after the verification is passed.
- Identity Verification: After the initiator enables this method, the signatory will be guided to upload a valid ID document image (such as the front and back photos of the document) in the signing process. eSignGlobal will use the identity verification service to check the authenticity and validity of the uploaded document information, such as verifying the consistency of the document number, name, and photo. After the verification is passed, the user is allowed to perform electronic signing.
- SMS Verification: After the initiator enables this method, when the user clicks the signing notification and enters the operation interface, the system automatically sends a one-time dynamic password (OTP, usually 6-8 digits) to the notification mobile phone number specified by the initiator. The user needs to fill in the received dynamic password in the specified location within the specified time. After the system verifies that it is correct, the identity verification is completed, and the signing can be carried out.
Is it support to affix a company chop?

Can a signer log in to the eSignGlobal platform and see their envelopes?
Whether a signer can view envelopes on the eSignGlobal platform depends on two key conditions: One is whether the signer and the workspace of the envelope initiator are the same, and the other is the current signing status of the envelope. The specific rules are as follows:
- The signer and the initiator are in the same workspace
- Regardless of whether it is their turn to sign the envelope, the signer can find the envelope in the “All Envelopes” list after logging in;
- When the envelope is transferred to the status of waiting for my signature, it will also appear in the “Pending Signature” list for quick processing of signing tasks.
- The signer and the initiator are not in the same workspace
- Only when the envelope officially enters the stage of waiting for my signature can the signer see the envelope in the “Pending Signature” list;
- If it is not their turn to sign (such as a later signing order) or after the signing is completed, the envelope cannot be found in any list on the platform.
After the super admin permission is transferred, the new super admin cannot view the envelopes initiated by the old super admin in the sent items. How should this be handled?
