With eSignGlobal, you can use templates to create SmartForms, collect information, and send envelopes.
Installing Add-ons
- Install the 「SmartForms」 add-on.

Template Select
- Go to the "SmartForms" page and click 「Add Form」.

- When finished selecting a template, click 「Next」.

Tip:
- After the template is selected, the system will generate an SmartForm according to the fields that need to be filled in by the sender from the template.
- Template requirements:
- Template must be enabled.
- Only PDF templates are supported.
- Templates are not allowed to contain checked fields.
SmartForm Setup
- After setting the SmartForm name and recipient, click 「Next」.
- Set SmartForm Name: Name your form
- Set Recipient: Include the Form Filler, Signers
- FormFiller: After the SmartForm is enabled, the form filler can access the QR code or link to fill in the form.
- When 「Need To Sign」 is checked, the form filler needs to fill in the form and sign it.
- When 「Need To Sign」 is unchecked, the form filler only needs to fill out the form and does not need to sign it.
- Signer: After the form is filled, the envelope will be automatically sended to the signer.
- Set Now: Signer information is specified by the form creator when the form is created
- Set Later: When using the form, the form filler specifies the signer information.

SmartForm Design
- Enter the SmartForm design page, the system will automatically generate the signer information fields, and generate the template fields according to the associated template. Users can drag and drop new form fields to set field properties.
- Form fields: Users can drag and drop form fields to the design page according to their needs.
- Template fields: The SmartForm design page generates fill fields related to the associated template.
- The form filler needs to fill in the contents of these fields when using the SmartForm.
- After filling in, the system automatically composes the filled information into the file and sends the envelope based on the file.
- Signer information fields: If the signer information needs to be specified by the form filler, the signatory information fields will be generated on the SmartForm design page, which needs to be filled in by the form filler when using the SmartForm.

Note:
- Signer information fields, template fields do not support deletion.
- If you do not need to set signer information, you can directly click the 「Enable」 button to enable the SmartForm; If you need to set signer information, click the 「Next」 button to continue.

Signer Setup
- Add signing fields and fill-in fields to the document, and assign signers.

- Click the 「Save」 button to save and enable the SmartForm.

- After the activation is successful, the deadline and the upper limit of the collection quantity can be set. After the setting is completed, the QR code or link can be provided to the form filler.
